Title IX states: "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination, which includes: a failure to provide equal opportunities, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other forms of sexual misconduct.
Any person may submit a Title IX allegation report involving a GFSD student or employee, that reasonably may constitute any form of sex-based discrimination, to the GFSD Title IX Coordinator. The report can be submitted at any time of the day by phone or e-mail, including during non-business hours, or in person.

As of June 6th, 2025 Green Forest School District does not meet the following guidelines; therefore, will provide all information to military families on an individual basis rather than through the district website.
15 A.C.A. § 6-28-301 requires the information to be placed on the “Military Families” page on the district website if the district has twenty (20) or more dependents of Uniformed Service Members enrolled in the district or a general student body of three thousand (3,000) or more. A.C.A. § 6-28-108 allows districts to provide this information directly to the military family instead of placing it on the website if the enrolled student numbers are not met.
