Hello! My name is Adam Wade and I am the High School Principal at Green Forest. I am a proud alumni of GFHS from the class of 2006. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) in 2010. I completed a Master’s in the Art of Teaching degree from UAM as well. I started teaching in 2010 and taught high school math at Hamburg and later on Berryville. I loved teaching everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus. I completed an Ed.S. degree in Mathematics Education from Nova Southeastern University. I also obtained certificates from the University of Central Arkansas as a Building Level Administrator and a District Level Administrator. In 2016 I was so excited I got to come back and work for my Alma Mater as a K-12 Instructional Facilitator. I was blessed to work as the Middle School Principal and have been the High School Principal for the last two years. I am married to my amazing wife, Casey, who is also a GFHS graduate. We have three awesome children; Alivia, Catey, and Burley, and two dogs named Coco and Pepper.
I am so thankful to work with an amazing staff here at Green Forest! Together I believe we can provide opportunities for all students to be successful inside and outside of the classroom.
Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

I’ve spent the last 30 years working in the Green Forest School District, and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of it. As a Green Forest alum, it means a lot to keep giving back to the place that helped shape me. I’m excited to keep doing what I love in the community I call home.

I am proud to serve as the principal of Green Forest Elementary, the same school I attended growing up!. I have spent 19 years in education, including 12 years as a kindergarten teacher and four years as a reading facilitator before becoming Principal.
Green Forest Elementary holds a special place in my heart. I believe every child deserves a safe, caring school where they feel valued and are encouraged to reach their full potential. It is a privilege to serve the students, families, and staff of this wonderful community.
Outside of school, I enjoy football, game shows, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I am truly thankful that I get to come to Green Forest Elementary every day. -
